Fareham Park Community Project
|
About What is the Fareham Park Project About? Fareham Borough Council and its partners, through network fareham, are working to listen more to communities and find out exactly how residents would like their area, and services provided, to be improved. Why? networkfareham wants to ensure that everyone in Fareham can enjoy a high quality of life and be proud of the area they live in. We want services to be better coordinated and shaped by communities. Where The project is initially concentrating on the Fareham Park area to the north of Fareham, and to look to the future to involve wider participation in other areas in the Borough. Who/How? To find out exactly how residents within the Fareham Park would like the area to be improved, we want to train people who live there togoout in the community and find out what people want. networkfareham and Learning Links are working in partnership to train and support these community champions and researchers. When The project is progressing with 12 residents completing training as community champions and researchers who are actively involved and have input their ideas and questions in to the questionnaire and survey. This is available in paper form and on-line, go to 'Get Involved' to take part and let us know your views. There will be on going opportunities for access to free workshops, training and volunteering activities, if you are interested in finding out more please contact the Project Coordinator, Angela Luke.
